This section looks at what we can all do to improve our environment - as well as planting tree seeds as part of the Seeds For Schools project.
Areas this section covers include the benefits of looking after our forests;
how we can protect the natural resources we already have;
and ways that we might help stop needless deforestation.
We also look at how using wood for energy can be more ecologically sustainable than burning coal, gas or oil;
how we might replace other more wasteful materials with wood;
and finally in this section how we can properly plan to adapt to inevitable changes in our climate which, while they may not take place immediately, will become apparent over the next 30-40 years.
Which means that these changes will be felt during the lifetimes of school pupils now taking part in the Seeds For Schools project.
