A tremendous set of awards deserves a great set of prizes - so here goes...
The highlight of the early part of the day is a visit to 10 Downing Street to be presented with a framed certificate, specially signed by the PM.
As it says on our home page, the winners get:
• An all expenses-paid trip to London and a stay in the five-star Marriott County Hall Hotel overlooking Parliament and the Thames.
• A reception with the Prime Minister and celebrity guests at 10 Downing Street.
• A Gala Awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane with celebrities on EVERY table.
• A VIP trip on the astonishing London Eye
• A trip for kids to the brilliant London Aquarium where they can help feed the sharks!
• Oh yes...and our winner in each category will receive £5,000 - with the overall winner, Britain's Children's Champion, getting £10,000.
And if YOUR nomination is the one that persuaded our judges to pick the winner YOU AND A PARTNER will be invited to our Gala Night too. If it's a child who's made the winning nomination then, of course, that child can come with his or her parents or guardians.
The big event takes place in London on March 3, 2010 - and everyone who comes will have the time of their lives.
The highlight of the early part of the day is a visit to 10 Downing Street to be presented with a framed certificate, specially signed by the PM.
Besides that signed certificate - and, of course, the prize money - each winner will also carry off a sensational cut glass trophy that is a true collectors' piece.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown is a huge fan of these awards. He said: "There are so many unsung heroes in this country working tirelessly for young people, ensuring that the next generation grows up happy, healthy and safe from harm.
"
It's absolutely right that they are recognised and, year after year, Children's Champions does an amazing job in celebrating their efforts. I know that the News of the World, the Post Office and Barnardo's are working hard to find the best of the best - the people who get involved and transform lives.
"We are all extremely humbled by such selflessness. This is the spirit that makes Britain great and truly is the backbone of our nation.''
But the visit to Number 10 isn't the only highlight.
Our 2009 winners at No 10 Downing Street with PM Gordon Brown
This extraordinary day is capped off with our gala dinner where our Children's Champions mix with loads of celebs.
To get an idea of the stars who turn up, play our videos on this website or click on the WHAT STARS SAY button.

Our 2009 Awards, last March, were presented by Shane Richie and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton. And previous acts have included Westlife, Ronan Keating, Rhydian, the Sugababes, The Saturdays, teen operatic sensation Faryl Smith, and McFly. We'll be announcing this year's acts soon - so watch this space.
And there's more! The following morning our guests will also get a VIP ride on the Merlin Entertainments London Eye to see the city's famous landmarks from an unrivalled perspective.
And the children in our party will visit the astonishing London Aquarium where they'll get to do something that no other visitor is allowed to do...help feed the sharks. It will be an awesome experience at one of the capital's great attactions.

Our guests will spend the night at The London Marriott Hotel, County Hall. This is truly one of the world's great hotels - a stunning venue with some of the best views in the capital. It gazes majestically over the Thames, the London Eye and Parliament.
This is where our judges will also have gathered to make their final decisions on our Children's Champions winners. It's also where many celebrities stay while they're in London - you might even catch Dame Kelly Holmes working out in the huge gym.
Here our winners will be treated royally. The hotel's general manager, Stuart Bowery, told the News of the World: "I'm delighted to have been involved with Children's Champions from the start.

"But it's wonderful and, I'm bound to say, extremely humbling, to hear the stories of Children's Champions winners. These are the real celebrities and they deserve our red-carpet treatment.''
Better still, the The London Marriott Hotel, County Hall is right next to the London Eye and the Sea Life London Aquarium.

The Aquarium is home to one of Europe's largest collections of global marine life and the jewel in the crown of the 28 Sea Life attractions in the UK and Europe.
The astonishing experience takes visitors on an immersive and interactive journey along their Great Oceanic Conveyor, meeting thousands of creatures from every part of the world in themed settings. There will be plenty of interaction along the way plus a stunning glass tunnel walkway encased in a gigantic whale skeleton.
Finally, you can stand on a glass diving bell platform floating in the Pacific shark display.
In all, it's a set of experiences reserved for the very best.
